Before Wei Kun could even grasp what was happening, she found herself standing face-to-face with the 6th Young Master, forced to endure the intensity of his burning gaze.

However, her thoughts were abruptly interrupted when he began to speak, "I do like the red dress on you, but I think the yellow one suits your round, adorable face far better," he said with a warm smile plastered across his face.

Without even giving the girl the time to sport a deep crimson blush, he moved his veiny hand toward her face, moving it to her lips. Just as she expected something naughty would happen, he simply brushed a leaf from her lips.

"You seem to have gotten a little something on you while working so hard. The least I could do is get it off for you." Lucifer said, flashing the most brilliant smile he could muster. He pulled back his hand to gauge her reactions, and things turned out even better than he expected.

Poof!

Smoke could be vividly seen coming out from the top of her head as she shrank back. Her eyes flickered erratically, she tried to speak, but no words came out.

'Damn, she's just as good, if not better, than the first Vixen.'

Lucifer marveled at how the Devilduke family could possess so many top-tier actors. But then again, it wouldn't be any fun otherwise.

"So, what have you come to me for, lovely little Wei Kun?" he asked.

"U-Uhmm… Well, Young Master… Y-You see…" she stammered, struggling to convey her message.

In the end, she took a deep breath before saying, "Young Master Lucifer, I was instructed by Lady Mu to request your presence in the dining room. Your father and siblings are already there, and they are waiting for you…" She muffled the last part, trying her best not to upset the young master.

Contrary to her fears, Lucifer overlooked that part of her request and his smile only grew brighter. Following this odd display of happiness, he exclaimed, "Oh, my dear mother is calling me to dine with the rest of my loving family? What a joyous occasion indeed!"

He rose from his seat and walked through his room, making his way through the mansion's halls like a filial child summoned for dinner.

Still trying to comprehend what just happened, Wei Kun was left all alone inside the young master's room.

However, after taking a moment to take in the most recent series of events, she calmed her erratic breath and adopted an icy-cold expression. Her eyes darted in the direction of the window sill as her voluptuous body dispersed into particles that shot out the window, reforming into someone entirely different.

"I have a strong gut feeling that he has already caught on. Should we still continue with the mission as planned?"

Her placid voice echoed, though it was unclear to whom she was talking to. But after getting what she felt was an answer, she walked away from the scene, her aura indescribable and her appearance even more so.

She ultimately passed through a corridor, and when she came out the other side, she was back to being Wei Kun, the extremely faithful maid of the Devildukes.

The young man's footsteps echoed through the hallowed halls as he tried his best to play the part of an obedient son, impatiently making his way to his 'loving' family.

'Damn… It looks like these venomous snakes are already trying to take advantage of me!'

Even though he had shown little to no capabilities over the past few days, the mere fact that he was actively cultivating was enough to draw the attention of the serpents in human clothing.

Lucifer turned around a corner and did something completely unexpected.

A Clone spawned, having an identical appearance and wearing the same clothes; the only difference being that they were merely illusory and held no corporeal attributes, such as increased defense.

Regardless of that fact, this clone would serve as his stand-in. There was absolutely no way he would risk his true self in that pit of snakes!

With this in mind, Lucifer slipped into a sewer hole with his true body, hiding beside a pile of green sewage.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, his consciousness was transferred to the Clone. Then, with complete calm, he stepped out of the shadowy nook, heading toward the dining room with a cheerful expression.

When he reached the two jewel-encrusted doors before him, he amplified his bubbly aura to 9000 and pushed the doors open.

He was immediately greeted with the sight of about ten or so intimidating figures, all of whom stared daggers at him as he walked in.

"I see you finally found some time to make it," Miss Mu remarked, her tone laced with hidden sarcasm.

"Tch! This unfilial younger brother of mine doesn't even know how to follow simple orders! What a useless thing he is!" Yan Xue sneered, making his contempt known to all.

"Ah, beautiful mother and loyal fourth brother. I apologize for my tardiness. You see, I got caught up in a few things concerning my advancement to Stage 1 of the Shadow Elemental Body and lost track of time. Silly me~"

Lucifer had already slithered his way over to the group of snake-eyed individuals gathered around the larger circular table. With his hands respectfully outstretched, the first thing he did after getting out this snarky comment was cup his hands toward his father.

He then did this the same cordial action for his mother, and then finally for his Eldest Sister and Brother as well.

This small gesture of his was enough to bring slight smiles to their stoic faces, as this new version of him seemed agreeable.

However, a far more pressing matter than that lingered—the fact that Lucifer claimed that he had attained a Stage 1 Shadow Elemental Body.
